A laundrette worth walking into.
Sheer Care Services opened on Chapel House Road with a simple idea: a laundrette that actually feels welcoming, runs on eco-friendly principles, and treats every bag like it matters.
Why we opened.
Laundry is one of those jobs that never stops, and most of us end up at a laundrette only when we really have to. We wanted to change that. Sheer Care is designed to be a calm, pleasant space — free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, a staffed counter, and a seat by the window if you'd like to stay while you wait.
Behind the scenes, we invested in an ozone sanitation system. That means your fabrics come back genuinely fresh rather than simply scented. We use biodegradable detergents and eco-friendly dry-cleaning agents, because clean shouldn't mean damaging.
How we work.
Biodegradable detergents, ozone sanitation, and collection routes planned to keep miles down.
We greet customers by name where we can. Most of ours are regulars, and we like it that way.
You see the price before we start any job. Weighed, itemised, agreed.
Separate zones for clean and dirty, drums sanitised between every load.
